The entry is a gold coin donation given at the gate; if you would like to enter a boat please use the registration form downloadable form the registration tab. if you want to enter the beach activities you can do that on the day free of charge.

There are also prizes to be won! With the winner of each event getting between $50 and $500 prize money. A total of $2500 is given to lucky winners, with the possibility of winning more than one race you could walk away with $1000!

Profits are donated to our beneficiaries

See our program of activities. There is no BYO due to our licence. Soft drinks and water will also be available. Mindil Beach Sunset Markets (food and craft stalls) will be trading all day. There are great opportunities for companies to get a high profile presence at the event.

A few other things...

Tides are good this year with a high at midday 5 metres an a low of 2 metre at 2000 ( 8pm)

We realise that people may be having issues with collecting cans either beer or soft drink cans, we at the BEER CAN REGATTA believe we have solved this issue. For a small fee of 100 dollars the recycling centres at Pinelands will supply 1000 cans of your liking, take your gloves as you may have to sort your own, if you want all one type of can.

This year we are trialling boats/kayaks made out of Plastic milk bottles.  Be inventive let your mind go. just remember it must float.

You can use beer cans or why not use milk containers. Start saving them now.

Cheryl & Des present the cheque for $15,000 to Fiona and Dean of Australian Volunteer Coast Guard. We also have Lions Jeff & Peg.

SIDS & KIDS NT are being funded to help them support families dealing with miscarriage, still birth and sudden infant death syndrome and do other important work.

It's all in a good cause and fun

We estimate that the cash we have donated to charitable causes in the NT between 1974 and 2016 is a little over $1.5M - this is a raw dollar figure and is not adjusted for inflation, to provide a "today's dollar" amount. We also don't have a total for the in-kind support we have provided to other organisations, or organised to flow directly from our sponsor to our beneficiary, because those dollars don't pass through our books.
